"With the voice of a "BraveHearted" trailblazer, Dawn Damon inspires women to step into their own courage to transform midlife into a remarkable journey," says Award-winning Filmmaker Sam Sorbo

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- In her late 40’s, Dawn Damon found herself stuck in a whirlwind of change. In one month, she experienced an empty nest, divorce, career disruption, job loss, financial ruin -- and the family dog died!

"Devastated, I felt alone, lost, and discouraged and then I found the courage to ask myself a life-changing question: What do I want to be in life?" says, Damon, author of Making A Bravehearted Woman (Bold Vision Books, Nov. 2023).

Employing her signature 5 Fortitudes of Transformation, Damon, a certified life and transformational coach specializing in emotional trauma and family relationship issues, ignites and inspires the brave heart within females in the second half of life to envision fulfillment and purpose, implement courageous steps of faith and action, and create the life that once seemed to be out of her reach.

"Ignoring a problem never makes it go away; it only makes things worse and ultimately, harder to solve," says Damon, who dedicates her book to the millions of women who struggle with self-sabotage, procrastination, average living with no dream, limiting beliefs, unfulfillment, apathy, boredom, low self-esteem and self-rejection.

Damon's personal journey into coaching and helping women began as a natural overflow of her own recovering, healing process from childhood sexual trauma. As a triumphant survivor, Dawn recalls the keys to her healing were desire and determination.

“I was hungry for wholeness, I eagerly desired healing and I was determined not to go through life as a victim! BraveHearted women know all things are possible" says Damon.

Today, Damon is the founder and CEO of the BraveHearted Woman Coaching, a transformational coaching and personal growth development enterprise designed to awaken and cultivate the vision of women-dreamers, calling them to "brave-up" and live their best lives.

“I’m a mentor of brave hearts and bold visionaries; women who long for more than average and common place. Inspiring women to rise-up, become brave, and live with vision and purpose is my passion and life-assignment,” says Dawn.

Award-winning Filmmaker and best-selling Sam Sorbo praises the book, saying "If you are ready to transform your midlife, then Dawn Damon's The Making of a BraveHearted Woman  will inspire women to step into their own courage with purpose and unshakeable confidence!"

In 2021, Dawn debuted a conference with the same name—The BraveHearted Woman. As one client put it, “Dawn ignites the fire of my dreams and inspires me to greatness!”

Also known as the BraveHeart MentorTM, Dawn is the creator and host of “The BraveHearted Woman” a weekly podcast that encourages women to unleash their full potential to the world, by discovering the inner fortitude they need to make life transformations, so they can live a fulfilling life without regret.

“I want women to win; to awaken to the greatness inside of them. And as I always say…live with grit and glitter!” Dawn concludes.
