NASHVILLE, Tenn.— “Have you heard the one about the difference between an Episcopalian and a Baptist?” says best-selling female comedian Chonda Pierce.

“An Episcopalian will speak to you in the liquor store!” she quips with masterful delivery – becoming only the recognized “Queen of Clean.”

In Fall 2023, Chonda hits the road again featuring comedy from her inimitable life and her latest album, “Still Laughing,” which she released Dec. 2, 2022 and recorded last April during live performances in Beaumont and Midland, Tex. During upcoming shows, she will share her stories, experiences and testimonies that will make audiences laugh -- while feeling right at home.

With an impressive performance resume -- including stage work at Opryland, touring the country for thousands of her comedy shows and appearing in about a dozen movies—audiences never quite know what to expect during Chonda’s live comedy performances – except signature timing and home-spun laughs.

In 2018, the premier of her second Fathom Events/Fuseic Entertainment one-night documentary, “Chonda Pierce: Enough,” garnered the highest per screen average of all nationwide theatrical releases that day. The film’s debut and encore presentations were viewed on a combined total of more than 1,500 screens around the country. “Enough” follows Pierce’s 2015 award-winning documentary, “Laughing in the Dark,” which chronicled her life in the wake of her husband’s death.
